a little bit about me

I am a teenage singer/songwriter and musician from North Carolina. I started singing from the time I could talk and started playing violin when I was just three years old. My love of music only grew when I moved to North Carolina. At the age of nine, I began taking guitar lessons. I was asked to be a part of my guitar teacher's premiere all girl rock band that performs throughout my community where I sing lead, harmony, play rhythm guitar, lead guitar, bass, and keyboard.

Songwriting was a natural progression for me. I have been writing for four years with guidance from my mentors at the Country Music Hall of Fame. I even had the opportunity to open for Luke Combs, Elle King, and Nate Smith for a Country Radio Seminar event sponsored by the museum and Sony Nashville where I performed an original song. While in Nashville, I connected with professional bassist Annie Clements (Amos Lee, Sugarland, Maren Morris, Molly Tuttle, Side Piece) who has served as my mentor since 2020. I even got to perform with Annie Clements, professional musician Megan Jane and Molly Tuttle on stage at the Duke Center for Performing Arts.

When I am not visiting Nashville, you can see mw perform locally with my band.
